Italy’s Fincantieri Sestri Ponente yard has officially handed over the Seven Seas Explorer to Regent Seven Seas.
The 55,200, 750 guest, all balcony suite ship is the first new build for Regent since the Seven Seas Voyager back in 2003. She will be followed by a sister ship in 2020.
Following her naming in Monaco on July 13th, the Seven Seas Explorer will sail on her maiden, revenue earning cruise on July 20th.
Her arrival brings the size of the current Regent fleet to four. Of those, three are completely all-balcony vessels.
